Kellie from EnKompass

Kellie Maloney is a customer experience and marketing strategist with 20 years across marketing, guest experience, events and tourism.

Every wellness business is really selling the same thing: how someone feels while they’re with you, and how they feel about it afterwards. Kellie’s work sits in that space. She shapes the marketing that brings a customer to you, and the design of the experience once they arrive. CX, end to end.

Kellie’s wellness story began on her family’s farm in the beautiful Northern Rivers of NSW, where she learned the art of wholesome cooking from her grandmother.

Those early years taught her that real food is real medicine, and that how people are looked after matters as much as what’s on the plate.

With a degree in business and tourism, Kellie started her career at Golden Door. It’s where she learned what it really takes to look after a guest and create the conditions for transformation: the pacing of a day, the difference an arrival makes, and how much of the outcome is decided in the details.

Then came a detour. Kellie spent 15 years in entertainment, running marketing and event operations alongside some of Australia’s best-known events and artists, right as digital content was taking off. Live events taught her what a marketing career alone never could: how a room gets filled, how an audience is held once it’s there, and what it takes to deliver an experience at scale.

Ongoing health challenges eventually led her back to where she started. She qualified as an Integrative Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), began a nutritional science degree, and brought the two halves of her career together.

Most marketing stops at the booking. Everything that decides whether a customer returns, or tells anyone, happens after that. Kellie works on both sides of that line.

Through enKompass and her signature SET Approach (Strategy, Experience, Transformation), Kellie works with health, wellness and tourism businesses on:

  • Brand and marketing strategy that supports commercial outcomes
  • Content and communications across digital, social, print and onsite
  • Experience and event design, in person and online
  • Customer journeys across every stage: anticipation, arrival, the experience itself and the return
